Ammonia Floating Production,
Storage & Offloading ("FAPSO")

Utilizing Canada’s massive, low-cost Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin natural gas reserves

to produce clean ammonia on a floating facility, while capturing over 95 % of byproduct CO₂.

Blue Ammonia FPSO Project
in British Columbia, Canada

Strategically located on the British Columbia coast, ZENOVA ENERGY is spearheading the development of a world-class Blue Ammonia floating production, storage, and offloading ("FAPSO") facility.

This project leverages regional natural gas resources and existing infrastructure to create a scalable gateway for clean energy exports.

The facility integrates advanced steam methane reforming (SMR) or Auto Thermal Reforming (ATR) technology with industrial-scale Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).

By capturing CO₂ emissions at the source and producing high-purity ammonia from natural gas, we ensure a reliable supply of low-carbon carriers that meet the rigorous environmental standards of the global energy transition.

Designed to serve target markets across Asia, the project provides a critical bridge for clean hydrogen and ammonia demand in power generation bunkering and heavy industry.

ZENOVA ENERGY serves as the lead project developer, coordinating technical design, environmental permitting, and strategic partnerships to bring this visionary infrastructure to life.
